What You Should Know About Cottonwood Hunting Lodge |

Cottonwood Hunting Lodge has been operating on our family owned land for over 18 year and has facilitated over 1000 successful hunts since our start.
We are intimately familiar with the habitat, the game and the desires of our guests and we strive to make your experience with us the most memorable hunting experience possible.
We started out as a group of guys who loved hunting and hanging out with others who also shared the hunting passion, but soon realized that we had quite a bit more land and wildlife than we could enjoy ourselves.
What is more exhilarating than bagging that big buck? Sharing the experience in helping many others get their's too. So, we opened our hunting paradise to you and have enjoyed many more hunts since.
Our passion is hunting and our goal is to share our passion with you and provide you with an experience of a lifetime.
Owners and Guides
Our guides are as best as they come and take all measures possible to ensure you have a great experience with Cottonwood Hunting Lodge and get what you're after.
With a combined total of 85 year of experience between our guides, we know how to put you in the right place at the right time. Our feel for the hunt and the animals' behavior is almost like a sixth sense.
The Lodge
The Lodge is located just south of Woodlake, Nebraska. It is a quiet, rustic place to relax and unwind.
The lodge can hold up to 9 guests comfortably, is fully furnished and offers all the modern conveniences.
We have recently added a new large dining area with two large tables for hanging out, playing cards and telling hunting stories.
Right outside of the cabbin is a trout pond stocked with rainbow trout for a little fishing between hunts.
The Land
Our hunting lands offer diverse terrains including rolling hills, pasture property, plum brushes, tree groves, canyons, meadows and lakes. In addition, alfalfa plots yield a great food source for our wildlife.
We own more than 22,000 acres in the sandhills and have access to thousands of additional acres of sandhill land, canyon and river bottom land providing a combined total of more than 50,000 acres of prime hunting.
