| Do I need to book my hunt in advance? |
We have a limited number of opening each year, so in order to ensure you are reserved a spot, you will need to book your hunt in advance. To book your hunt visit our Booking and Planning page.

| Can I add additional hunts if I "tag out" early? |
If you finish your planned hunt early and have some days to spare you are welcome to add additional hunts at the listed prices or your guide to quote you a price on additional game. Hunters must possess valid Nebraska permits for all game taken at Cottonwood Hunting Lodge.

| What do I pay if I do not harvest an animal? |
Although the percentage of successful harvests are very high, we are a 100% fair chase operation and wild game can be unpredictable. In the event you do not harvest an animal you are still responsible for the cost of the hunt. Our goal is for you to leave completely satisfied and we will do everything possible to achieve that goal.

| What are the hidden costs? |
There are no hidden costs. All you are required to pay are the prices agreed upon when booking your hunt, although most hunters will tip their guide.

| What is meant by 100% fair chase? |
Cottonwood Hunting Lodge is not a high fence operation. All of our hunts are wild, native species of Nebraska. We use only legal and fair methods of pursuing and harvesting the game.

| Will my group/I have the ranch and lodge exclusively to ourselves/myself? |
We may book up to 2 groups at the same time depending on the size of the groups. With over 50 thousand acres, we can accomodate many more groups but limit to two. If you would like to book the lodge exclusively, there will be a slight premium charged. Give us a call for details.

| Are there site permits required beyond the Nebraska hunting permits? |
We do not require you to purchase any additional site permits or pay any additional trophy fees other than what you have arranged for your specific hunt.

| What should I bring with me on the hunt? |
We have a established a comprehensive list of what you might want to bring and what you shouldn't bring on our Packing List page. Feel free to call us if you have questions about items not included in our lists.

| Can you cater to special food needs and/or allergies? |
We are happy to cater to any special food needs. Please provide the specifics of your food needs prior to your visit.

| Is liquor included in the package? |
Liquor is not included in the hunting package, but it is allowed. Feel free to bring any liquor you wish to drink.
|
| Can I bring my own hunting dog? |
Feel free to bring your own hunting dogs for upland game hunts or for tracking purposes. Dogs cannot be used in the pursuit of game other than upland game and waterfowl, but may be used in game retrieval after the kill.

| Can my wife/family come along? |
We can accomodate family at a daily rate if arrangements are made in advance.
